Denuvo Anti-Tamper is still present and running in the cracked version of RE Village and has not been removed. EMPRESS' crack forces the DRM to accept a fake license. Denuvo Anti-Tamper, while present, is not the cause of the slowdown issues. This way both camps will benefit from piracy and pirates will never receive a 'better' version. Capcom DRM is responsible for the performance issues. When game gets cracked, companies should remove Denuvo. If the following is accurate it just makes Denovo look even worse.
